Job Hunting Stress

Are you stressed?

YES! I know it can be a very stressful and trying time searching for a job and preparing with all of your different resumes, wardrobe, interview practicing, etc. You need to find what works best for you to destress or you will either A drive yourself crazy or B blow a great job from being too uptight. I am going to list what I use to relieve my stress and hopefully you can get some ideas of your own.
1. Working out. That really does help release a lot of tension and keep your body fit. I use a website that has a work out of the day on it and tweak it to my needs. When it says lift 200 lbs I get my 5 or 10 lb weight and do the same workout. This is not to bulk up or lose weight these workouts last me between 5 to 30 minutes a day. That is long enough to relieve tension and any anger built up.
Workout of the Day!
2. Dress up! My Nanny always told me no matter how sick you feel or how sad you are put your makeup on get on a cute outfit and you will feel better than you did in them sweatpants in the bed. For the most part I have found this true! There is nothing funner than getting dolled up especially with my favorite brand of makeup Younique as well as my monthly surprise makeup bag from Ipsy. With the help of these companies I learn new techniques and products that rock my new looks and sure make it fun to get ready!
3. Bubble bath and massage oil! Need I say more?!
-The fractionated coconut carrier and massage oil by GoPure creates a barrier on your skin, but does not clog your pores. Provides a light-weight and non-greasy finish. It is composed of 100 percent natural Carrier Oil or pure base. It does have a smell to it after it dries on your skin, but that can be easily covered with a scented lotion or bath. I received this oil free as a review and I fell in love with it. It is easily massaged into the skin to loosen up the knots and pinched nerves that I get when I am overly stressed out.
Like I said though it does have a slight smell to it after it dries so it is nice to rinse off in the shower and then take a long hot relaxing bubble bath afterward.
4. Painting! Yes I said it lol I never thought I would ever put that word to my name! I have always been a writer passing all of my creative writing classes with A++; however, I have never been an artsy type with drawing and especially not painting. Until I did my first painting with my fiance and it was so stress relieving. We bonded, painted, had fun, and relaxed.
5.Lastly, Blogging it is a great stress release to come home and just write. Get everything off of my mind.
I hope you enjoyed my stress relievers and I cannot wait to hear and see what your stress relievers are!
