Job Hunting Stress

Are you stressed?

YES! I know it can be a very stressful and trying time searching for a job and preparing with all of your different resumes, wardrobe, interview practicing, etc. You need to find what works best for you to destress or you will either A drive yourself crazy or B blow a great job from being too uptight. I am going to list what I use to relieve my stress and hopefully you can get some ideas of your own.
1. Working out. That really does help release a lot of tension and keep your body fit. I use a website that has a work out of the day on it and tweak it to my needs. When it says lift 200 lbs I get my 5 or 10 lb weight and do the same workout. This is not to bulk up or lose weight these workouts last me between 5 to 30 minutes a day. That is long enough to relieve tension and any anger built up.
Workout of the Day!
2. Dress up! My Nanny always told me no matter how sick you feel or how sad you are put your makeup on get on a cute outfit and you will feel better than you did in them sweatpants in the bed. For the most part I have found this true! There is nothing funner than getting dolled up especially with my favorite brand of makeup Younique as well as my monthly surprise makeup bag from Ipsy. With the help of these companies I learn new techniques and products that rock my new looks and sure make it fun to get ready!
3. Bubble bath and massage oil! Need I say more?!
-The fractionated coconut carrier and massage oil by GoPure creates a barrier on your skin, but does not clog your pores. Provides a light-weight and non-greasy finish. It is composed of 100 percent natural Carrier Oil or pure base. It does have a smell to it after it dries on your skin, but that can be easily covered with a scented lotion or bath. I received this oil free as a review and I fell in love with it. It is easily massaged into the skin to loosen up the knots and pinched nerves that I get when I am overly stressed out.
Like I said though it does have a slight smell to it after it dries so it is nice to rinse off in the shower and then take a long hot relaxing bubble bath afterward.
4. Painting! Yes I said it lol I never thought I would ever put that word to my name! I have always been a writer passing all of my creative writing classes with A++; however, I have never been an artsy type with drawing and especially not painting. Until I did my first painting with my fiance and it was so stress relieving. We bonded, painted, had fun, and relaxed.
5.Lastly, Blogging it is a great stress release to come home and just write. Get everything off of my mind.
I hope you enjoyed my stress relievers and I cannot wait to hear and see what your stress relievers are!

Review of Fraser Kitchen Scale

I received a Fraser Kitchen Scale for free. I thought it would be great as we both work in our home with children and that pertains to a lot of meal planning and pre-cooking. I will have to say I am very disappointed as the product came in and is very cheaply made. It needed to be scaled and even then does not work properly. We use it as decoration for our kitchen now and I highly do not recommend buying this product for your meal planning!

Facial Hair and Employment!

It's under assumption that men have it easier with interviewing more so on the getting ready and dress. That is not the case as men need to have a clean hair cut, trimmed to none facial hair, fitted suit, clean shoes, and when they sit -oh my socks are what color?!-, need I mention the tie and watch?

When dressing for your interview you do not want to overdress your potential boss or stick out like a sore thumb. Research the company you are interviewing for and get a good feel on what the men wear at work. If it is khakis and a polo or button up then that is what you will wear and stick to neutral colors. Do not try to flash it up with neon colors or bold colors; you want to impress them not give them a headache. Once you have your attire set you will need to make sure it is clean pressed and the measurements are a fit for you not little or big but a perfect fit.

Now that you know what you are going to be wearing we need to discuss the facial and head hair. Go get your hair cut and have it a clean cut. Hair grows so if you do not like it just remember it will grow back but, is blowing an interview worth not getting that hair cut?
Smooth Viking Conditioner and Beard Oil is great to use to help you achieve that sleek stylish look to win over that future supervisor and coworkers!! I received this product for free to show everyone how awesome it works! So now that you have your resume, outfit, and hair cut you will need to style your hair for that interview. Here is what the product looks like:

They also come in a fancy potato sack the size of the can so you can store it easily. It does not smell and is not messy that way you can take it on the go with you for touch ups if needed, but you wont need to do any touch ups.

NOW GO GET THAT INTERVIEW DONE CONGRATULATIONS!!
